What to know first.
How much do I earn per referral?
It depends on the size of the deal and the spread. Most checks land between $500 and $2,500. Larger or quick-close deals can go higher. We'll tell you what to expect once we've seen the property.
When do I get paid?
The week of closing. We cut the check at the same time as our funding wire, and either mail it or hand it to you in person — your call.
What if my friend doesn't sell?
Nothing happens. There's no obligation on you or them. We don't keep their info on a marketing list, and we won't hassle them if they pass.
Is there a limit on how many referrals I can send?
No limit. We work in all 50 states, so anyone you know with a house anywhere in the US is fair game. Send as many as you have.
Do I need a real estate license to do this?
No. The check is a thank-you for the introduction — it's a finder's fee paid to a private party, not a real estate commission. (If you are a licensed agent, talk to us — we structure those differently to keep you compliant.)
